The professional team behind HD3, also known as High Definition Trilogy, is composed of three designers: Jorg Hysek, Valerie Ursenbacher, and Fabrice Gonet. Jorg Hysek left his brand in 2006 to give life to this new design collective. They unleashed their first round of designs, including the Idalgo, Capture, and Raptor, which were designed separately using common ideas. However, for their next round of design they decided to put their heads together to come up with the HD3 Three Minds. This conveys all the tenets of idealism that the brand is known for, including innovative design, limited editions of their products, and complex engineering mechanisms.

The designers are continuously working on new cases, watch designs, and concepts, which led to the creation of the HD3 Three Minds. The movement of the watch is unique to the brand, and represents a new area of watch culture. It includes an automatic movement which is an integral part of the actual design of the piece, bringing together engineering and aesthetics into a whole new level. The display includes three separate rotating discs to tell the hours, minutes, and seconds, which is a different and innovative way to tell time.
