Already a popular collection, CVSTOS Challenge Inkvaders transformed the famous Skull that was designed by Christian Nguyen into the exquisite and intimidating Pirate of the Caribbean. The limited edition series of about 10 to 20 pieces was crafted in a partnership between the brand and the famous tatoo artist. Nguyen, founder of the studio ‘Inkvaders’ in Geneva brings a beautiful artistic flair to these timepieces and certainly an identity that is recognizable by all.
The Pirate editions are remarkable in color and hand-finished details, the dial has been crafted to have an aged patina to the skull. This painting has been mounted on the CVSTOS Jetliner Collection in 2018 and has provided these timepieces with not only a unique identity, adding guns after the bones and swords from last year, but also a strength to stand on their own.
Two new models that are equipped with similar technical characteristics, but differ in the material as well as the size of the case and also the colors used to represent the pirate that adorns the dial. One of these striking pieces is manufactured in a stainless steel case with a bronze coating with patina designed in size 53.7 x 41mm. The second piece is created with a titanium case and 18k pink gold with a larger 59 x 45mm size. The automatic self-winding mechanism is visible through the sapphire crystal glass on the magnificent tonneau-shaped case. Equipped with a 42 hour power-reserve, and indicators of hours, minutes, seconds and date. The timepiece is finished with a rubber or alligator leather strap and a folding clasp or pin buckle.
