Behind every great watch is a great history. The U-Boat first started as a concept in the mind of Officine Fontana who wanted to create a watch for the distinguished officers of the navy boats called u-boats. Officine never created the U-Boat and was not taken from blue-print to prototype until his cousin Italo Fontana launched the U-Boat brand.
